Charlie George

Regarded as one of the most talented players to play for Arsenal, George came through the Gunners’ youth setup and established himself in the first-team.

In eight years there, he clocked up 113 league appearances and scored 31 goals – and also scored the winner in the FA Cup final of 1971.

Spells with Derby County and Minnesota Kicks then came for him before a move to Saints in 1979.

He made 44 league appearances whilst on the South Coast and scored 11 goals in the process.
