Midfielders

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Central-Midfield – 7

Terrific strike turned over by Krul shortly before half time. Really good energy in midfield and won numerous loose balls to push Saints forward.

James Ward-Prowse, Central-Midfield – 6

Perfect delivery again to set up the opening goal. Not his best on the ball recently but has weighed in with some vital goals and assists.

Moussa Djenepo, Right-Wing – 6

Tricky and had a left-footed shot that whistled just over bar. Not his best showing in a Saints shirt.

Nathan Redmond, Left-Wing – 5

Not at the levels that he can reach at the moment. Perhaps he can return to form as Saints return to form.
