Southampton: Five players who have played for Saints and West Ham

Nigel Quashie

Quashie joined Saints from arch-rivals Portsmouth in January 2005 as Harry Redknapp tried to save the club from relegation.

The club dropped to the second-tier but Quashie stayed until the following January window when he joined West Brom £1.6m.

He was on the move again in 2007 when West Ham came calling but would only play eight times for the Hammers after being loaned out on three separate occasions.

The midfielder retired in 2016 after four years plying his trade in Iceland,
