Strikers and Substitutes

Shane Long, Striker – 8

Neat on the ball – which isn’t always his strong point – and was in the right position at the right time to get Saints level in the first-half.

Danny Ings, Striker – 8

What more can we say. An excellent finish to round off a brutal Saints counter, so perhaps he can go on another scoring run.

Jannik Vestergaard, 1st Substitute – 5

Looked to be doing well until he was turned inside out by Lucas Moura and set off the late turnaround from the hosts.

Stuart Armstrong, 2nd Substitute – 5

Not involved in much of note but good to see him back. Should come straight back into the starting line-up for the Burnley game.

Che Adams, 3rd Substitute – N/A

As is normally the case, not much time at all to make a difference. Did pick up a yellow card though.
