Djamel Belmadi

Belmadi joined Saints on a free transfer from UAE side Al-Wahda after they dropped to the Championship in 2005.

In all, he made 40 appearances for the club before leaving for French side Valenciennes in 2007.

Since retiring just two years after that, he made the step into management and has had huge success as the Algeria national team boss.

Last year, he led them to just their second Africa Cup of Nations win in the 2018/19 competition held in Egypt.
