Let’s be honest, we are all missing Southampton being in action at the moment.
2019/20 may have been an inconsistent campaign that has included the club’s record loss and then some excellent wins during the recovery over the Christmas period, but just two weeks without football is more than enough for some (including me).
At this time, the health of fans, players, staff and others involved in the game quite rightly takes priority though.
That has left everyone to try and think of ideas to fill their usual Saturday routine as the clock ticks past 3pm – Saints even had a game of Noughts and Crosses with Man City last weekend.
One way in which to still get your football and Saints fix is to look back on some of the best Premier League moments that the club have produced – and there are plenty of them in this video:
Over the past couple of seasons, it has been easy to get caught in the bad moments and not remember some of the better times we have had following our club.

- A lament for Southampton legend James Ward-Prowse
All you have to do to bring a smile back to your face in this current time is watch Ward-Prowse curl in a free-kick, James Beattie lash home a volley or Matt Le Tissier bamboozle a few defenders before finding the net with ease.
Perhaps this is also a time to reflect on how lucky we have been as Saints fans when comapared to fans of other teams.
In the last 10 years, we’ve visited Wembley three times when other may not have been at all in that time – or even in their history.
We saw the perfect set up of management and players produce successive promotions to the Premier League when some other may have seen successive relegations.
The pinnacle of this rise was also a taste of European football, including a trip to San Siro, which most fans won’t experience in their lives.
Most importantly, we still have a club to go and support once this break is over. Bury fans have had the history of their club wiped out this season, whilst Bolton Wanderers supporters very nearly saw the same happen too.
Saints remaining in the Premier League is vital to their future prospects and Ralph Hasenhuttl being at the helm could mean us being spoiled even more in the coming years.
