1. Incredible solo goal vs Newcastle in 93/94

If there’s a goal that sums up Le Tissier in one passage of play, it’s probably this one.

As the ball was headed inside to him and fans saw his first control – a flick with his left heel – they probably knew that something special was coming.

The next moves saw a poke past a defender, flick over the head of another and then a totally calm finish when it could easily have been rushed. Only Le Tissier could score goals like that.
