Press Press Press

The Southampton press kept Norwich pinned down and created a lot of turnovers and was a big reason the Saints one this match. We have seen it worked before but the club looked like a well oiled machine in the second half.

If they are able to execute the press like the did on Friday, they are going to cause a lot of teams headaches whenever they have to play against the Saints.

Our best scoring opportunities usually arise from turnovers created by pressing so it is crucial they execute the defensive game plan so they can also score goals.

Now, I really like the Saints chances at beating Arsenal on Thursday and I think they have what it takes to claim 3 more points and reach that magic number of 40.
