Strikers and Substitutes

Danny Ings, Striker – 6

A quiet evening in front of goal for the main man, but it was good to see others stepping up.

Did steal the ball from Pogba in the lead up to Armstrong’s opener though and did not stop working.

Che Adams, Striker – 6

Worked hard and battled to win balls forward against an imposing United defence but nothing really came off for him.

Shane Long, 1st Substitute – 6

Not too much influence when he came on.

Will Smallbone, 2nd Substitute – 6

Some nice touches and importantly kept the ball late on. Will have a big part to play next season.

Michael Obafemi, 3rd Substitute – 7

Good striker’s instinct to be in the right place at the right time and bundle home the equaliser.
