Southampton: Dates for all of Saints’ 2020/21 matches revealed

Southampton will head into the 2020/21 season with high hopes that they can have a successful one under the leadership of Ralph Hasenhuttl.

An impressive turnaround in their 2019/20 campaign saw them climb out of a relegation battle and into the midtable safety of 11th. Another month of games and they could well have pushed into the top half.

Saints return to training on Monday ahead of what could be a big upcoming year for them. They will know their full Premier League fixture list by next Friday and excitement will start building once again – even though fans will not be allowed back into the stands for a while yet.

Ahead of fixtures being decided, initial dates have been set for each matchday in the Premier League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.

Saints will kick off their Premier League season on 12th September and will then play their opening Carabao Cup tie on the following Tuesday or Wednesday.

Sunday 23rd May 2021 has been set as the final day of the league campaign, whilst the finals of the Carabao Cup and FA Cup will be on 28th February and 15th May respectively.
