Guido Carrillo to Elche

According to Spanish news outlet AS, Carrillo is set to join Elche on a free transfer.

The Argentine has made just 10 appearances for Saints since joining for a hefty fee of around £19m back in 2018 and it appears that both player and club are set to move on.

Information from an exclusive from Dan Sheldon of the Athletic explains that the signing of Carrillo was one that almost caused a member of staff to quit and only seemed to suit manager Mauricio Pellegrino at the time.
