Number 4

Stuart Armstrong – Previous Rank: 5 (+1)

The Scot has been the piece of the Hasenhuttl machine that makes the attack click. His movement on and off the ball opens up so much space for his teammates and he has become a player the other teams need to gameplan around.

I thoroughly enjoy watching him week-in and week-out as he always shows up to play and will do a little trick that will make you say, “wow”.

Armstrong is another player who has flourished under Hasenhuttl and if he stays healthy he could have a big rest of the season.
