Southampton vs Sheffield United team news: Both may have full fitness
By Marc Walker
Southampton return to St Mary’s on Sunday and will look to claim another Premier League win against Sheffield United in front of 2,000 of their own fans.
It will be the first time that Saints supporters will be allowed through the turnstiles since March when they saw their side take on Newcastle United and those lucky enough to have got a ticket will be hoping to see the hosts in good form.
Sheffield United have endured a wretched start to the 2020/21 campaign and currently sit bottom of the table after collecting just one point from 11 games so far.
Their 2019/20 season proved that they are a tough outfit when they get things right though and Chris Wilder will be working hard to turn things around.
Ralph Hasenhuttl saw his players get back on track with a gritty 2-1 win at Brighton on Monday and Saints will be looking to build some momentum once again after their recent loss to Manchester United.

Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond returned as substitutes versus Brighton and Mohammed Salisu also appeared in a matchday squad for the first time since joining the club in the summer transfer window.
Saints could have an unchanged side for a fourth straight game but Ings will be expected to take a starting role after getting another week of training under his belt.
Sheffield United could be boosted by the return of a trio of players in Lys Mousset, Ethan Ampadu and Enda Stevens – providing fresh options for a team looking for a first league win of the season (via sufc.co.uk).
Jack O’Connell is out but is a long-term absentee having picked up a knee injury back in September.
