Moussa Marega, FC Porto

Marega was linked with West Ham and Spurs last January and – like all three of the other players mentioned in this article – has a contract with Porto that expires in June.

Porto have built a very useful attacking unit in the past few seasons and Marega has been at the heart of that. In 166 appearances, he has scored 67 goals and provided 32 assists for his teammates.

Goal and assist numbers like this suggest that he has the ability to play at a higher level and in a league with more competition, and Saints should be on the look out if he chooses to come to the Premier League.

The Mali international will be 30 in April but will still have a good portion of his career ahead of him as he plans for a move away from Portugal.
