Midfielders

James Ward-Prowse, Central-Midfield – 8

What injury? A win on his 100th straight game for Saints and a controlling performance in the middle of the park that proves just how important he is.

Ibrahima Diallo, Central-Midfielder – 7

Under the radar in comparison to Ward-Prowse but some very solid contributions to defensive and attacking efforts throughout the game.

Stuart Armstrong, Attacking-Midfield – 8

Consistent driving runs from deep that caused a lot of problems for Burnley. Smashed home the first Saints goal that started the turnaround.

Theo Walcott, Attacking-Midfield – 5

Looked rusty, which is to be expected after so long out.
