Southampton’s match schedule for the remainder of the 2020/21 season has been confirmed, with the final two fixtures rearranged to allow fans back to stadium.

Supporters have not been present at a Saints game since December, when 2,000 people saw Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side lose by a narrow 1-0 scoreline to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at St Mary’s.

The financial strains produced by the pandemic have been well-documented and clubs like Saints have lost many millions of pounds in income because of not being able to welcome spectators through the turnstiles.

The gradual easing of lockdown regulations will hopefully mean that a return to normality is close and sports fans all around the country will be glad to be able to see live events once more.

All Premier League teams will have one home game in which home fans will be present, with these being spread over the last two matchweeks of the campaign.
