Randal Kolo Muani

According to Foot Mercato, Saints have joined other clubs from Germany, Belgium and England in the race to sign Kolo Muani after his impressive breakout season for Nantes.

Nantes were very close to being relegated from Ligue 1, but Kolo Muani was a constant shining light for them. The 22-year-old played 40 games across all competitions, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further nine to prove that he could become a big talent in the future.

He is clearly seen as a player of great potential in France too. He has seven caps for a France Under-21s side with a plethora of options to choose from and a senior team above them with world class talent oozing from all sides.

Another story from Foot Mercato has since suggested that Eintracht Frankfurt have made the first moves to sign him but also names Saints as a club who have made past contact. If Saints are keen, they may need to move fast to secure the signing of one of the hottest talents around from last season.
