St. Mary's fanbase saw Tino Livramento accumulate a fatigue that stirred Southampton's Premier League downfall. Hence, Livramento must be grateful he doesn't have to witness a part 2 of that recovery again.

Doing a Manchester City transfer photoshoot as a rising English talent is no doubt a "pinch me" moment. Tweak it with a stretch of ten to eleven good months separating a World Cup bonus, and it becomes Southampton target James Trafford's dream.

Fairly speaking, Trafford won't be impressed with this Saints subplot stirring up, but the Southampton fanbase will not mind the club sharing a first team player with Man City.

Already €40m-labelled former defender Tino Livramento missed getting on the Cityzens' flight last summer, but his current agony is such that it can't be equated to a lost ticket to a Big-6 side.

As quoted by the Independent, Tino's gaffer Eddie Howe insisted: "He has confirmed it is looking like an eight-week injury, which is a blow given our schedule, but it is looking better than what we initially feared."

Saints will be elated with Tino Livramento's improved update

For those of you who still have strong memories of Southampton's terrible 22/23 season, you know how much Tino's unavailability plagued the Saints. Ralph Hassenhuttl's defensive outlook felt toothless without Tino's all-round efforts, and let's leave it here with how Nathan Jones' James Bree plan fared.

Ruben Selles then kept favouring Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Russell Martin had Yukinari Sugawara and their successors also toyed and experimented with numerous candidates.

It's that simple, Southampton were a fragile group in 2022 waiting for any injury to surround them with a sorry league run, which happened through Livramento.

The question of relegation is not a correct one for Livramento now, but he must thank his stars he sidestepped past a Southampton misery. Overall, Livramento joins Levi Colwill as once Southampton stalwarts who will have less Premier League action on their tables than usual.
