Southampton's sister club, Goztepe, are interested in exploring a season-long loan move for Armel Bella-Kotchap.

It's been mere days since Armel Bella-Kotchap expressed his desire to mark a Bundesliga return this summer. Now, not to hamper the defender's spirits, but this transfer dream feels far-fetched at least for now.

This is because, in his 3 years of Southampton stay, Bella-Kotchap has made almost zero progress in his career. And sadly, this has forced the defender's transfer fortune out of his hands.

Earlier, ex-boss Juric's strange silence apparently called off Bella-Kotchap's Torino transfer, and now his move depends solely on a German top-tier club's choice.

Yet, while these departure difficulties have predominantly emerged due to Bella-Kotchap's unfavourable stance at Southampton, the club's multi-model ownership can come to his rescue now.

It's the Saints' sister-club, Goztepe, voluntarily, willing to offer an escape route to the fringe Southampton defender.

Goztepe tipped to solve Southampton's Bella-Kotchap situation

As per Fotospor(via Sports Republic), Goztepe are keeping tabs on for exploring a loan transfer for Bella-Kotchap. Being one of the 2022 Saints arrivals like Joe Aribo, the 23-year-old defender might end up sharing fortunes with his midfield teammate at the Turkish club, again.

Honestly, most of Southampton's departures to Goztepe are intended to relieve the Super Lig side, but this Bella-Kotchap move ought to be a different one. And the reason's clear, due to the player's low confidence.

While Bella-Kotchap's interviews have time and again reflected his off-the-field confidence, the player's poor on-the-field form is a big concern.

Thankfully, a potential loan transfer could solve this in future.

In case Bella-Kotchap arrives at Goztepe, the defender will likely become an automatic starter, solving his lack of game time issue. Further, being in the umbrella of Sport Republic, the defender would be under Southampton's supervision all the time.

Not to forget, Bella-Kotchap came in as an ambitious long-term signing at Southampton, and if a Goztepe loan fuels him back in confidence, the defender's career can get right on track again.

But it all starts with Goztepe's intended efforts to push for Bella-Kotchap's move. Will it happen this summer? Let's see.
