On Sunday, Southampton fans celebrated the debut of promising defender Joachim Kayi Sanda which is another victory for the youth academy. Now, the Saints developing raw talents into some of the finest future prospects doesn't come as a surprise in the first place.

Still, this year, they have travelled the extra mile in this regard with the success stories of Tyler Dibling, Jay Robinson and their U21 ranks. Hence, it's time the Southampton fans start pushing the club in the debates for the best talent factory across English football.

Will Southampton sway the general Premier League fan opinions in their favour? Honestly, it isn't guaranteed but at least the England's national team does indeed rate Southampton's teens highly.

Southampton's academy trio to lead England's U19 Euro ambition

Next month, England will kick off their U19 Euro campaign and for that they have selected as many as three Southampton's homegrown talents. The trio includes Tyler Dibling alongside departed wonderkids Sam Amo-Ameyaw and Jayden Meghoma, who were all part of the Saints roster until last summer.

Apart from being a matter of pride for Southampton, it also highlights the recent Southampton-ness trend growing in England's junior teams. Players like Cameron Archer, Nathan Wood, Ronnie Edwards and even Aaron Ramsdale have donned the Young Lions colours though, most of them weren't Saints back then.

Anyways, these hefty Southampton representations on the international level will surely convince other young gems to make it big at St. Mary's. Who knows, this could be the beginning of one of Southampton's golden generations in the Premier League.

Fingers crossed, let's hope it does turn this way. Also, rooting for the English U19 bunch to lift the silverware in a month's time.
