Southampton's home form this season is in a league of its own in the Championship.
The Saints boast the only 100% record in the entire division, with a breathtaking 15 goals scored across the four dominant wins.
The away record leaves a lot to be desired, on the other hand, with the South Coast side coming away from their trip to Wrexham with another loss on the road next to their name...
Southampton's abject away record
Indeed, from four away games in the gruelling Championship so far this season, the Saints are winless.
This is night and day from their flawless home record, with two draws and two defeats having to be stomached, when they're not situated at fortress St. Mary's.
Up against the Red Dragons, they had the chances to pick up a positive result, but Cyle Larin wasn't firing on all cylinders, with the Brampton Bagsman scoring the majority of his 17 Southampton strikes on home soil.
Indeed, only four of those efforts have come about when the Saints have been on the move, with that killer instinct that he has become well-known for at St. Mary's nowhere to be found in Wales.
Not killing off teams on the road allowed Phil Parkinson's men to grab a late winner courtesy of a fortuitous Keven Schlotterbeck own-goal, as the away day misery shows no signs of stopping.
Tonda Eckert and Co. can't afford to continue slipping up in this way, as they continue to make up ground on the promotion pack, with their four point deduction still hurting them.
Hopefully, this hex in the air whenever Southampton leave the South Coast behind vanishes after the three-week international break, with the more superstitious among us potentially believing that this unnoticed detail is at fault for the two defeats on the road this season.

Saints fans weren't the biggest fan of the away kit when it was revealed.
As Saints Marching wrote in August, one fan dubbed the blue and pink away kit as "utterly vile" when it was first revealed, and the results when the team have been wearing the garish attire haven't been great, either.
Both times Eckert and Co. have donned this bright headache of a strip, they have lost, with the latest being that last-gasp defeat on Saturday to Wrexham, who managed to have the last laugh over their Spygate antics pre-match to pile the misery even higher.

The only other time the promotion candidates have worn it this season they were on the receiving end of a bullish opening day performance from Watford, meaning the kit's win rate is at 0%, which is a far-cry away from the flawless record at the stronghold of St Mary's.
This is likely just a coincidence, but it is amusing that his kit was so disliked when it was revealed, and it has then resulted in two losses occurring when it's been chucked on.
The regular away day losers will want to put this hoodoo to bed with a win the next time they don the changed strip, with plenty of opportunities to come to make the kit a memorable one, instead of a loud and flashy shirt that produced poor results on repeat.
