Southampton head into their away encounter with Norwich City later on today in the Championship still winless on their travels this season.
Indeed, the last time they ventured away from the home comforts of St. Mary's, they lost late on against Wrexham, as an unfortunate Keven Schlotterbeck own goal handed the Red Dragons a narrow 2-1 victory.
Away from that defeat in Wales, the Saints also lost to Watford on the opening day at Vicarage Road, and have collected two draws to Lincoln City and Birmingham City.
Safe to say, Tonda Eckert and Co. are a homebody.
Hopefully, a win can be secured shortly, when they leave the South Coast behind, and Norwich later on could be a golden opportunity for a rare away success, when you consider the Canaries' extensive injury concerns.
Norwich's injury list heading into the game
Ahead of the game at Carrow Road, Norwich have six injury concerns, which is far from ideal from the home side's perspective.
This season, Philippe Clement's men have already lost six games, despite being billed as promotion contenders, so having a raft of players out isn't what you want, if you're trying to find some consistent form.
On the other hand, it's music to the away side's ears, who need all the help they can get to break out of their poor form on the road, and not having to deal with Mo Toure leading the line for the hosts is a major plus.
Toure, before being struck with a season-curtailing shoulder injury, had five goals next to his name in Championship action for the hot-and-cold Canaries. The aforementioned Schlotterbeck won't have to keep him under wraps, thankfully.
The likes of Kenny McLean will also be absent, when scanning over the other bumps and bruises noted, as the experienced Championship midfielder has an ankle problem to contend with.
With 38 goal contributions under his belt in the second tier across his accomplished career, to date, this will be a blow not having him available to create from the middle of the park for the depleted hosts.
Of course, all these injury issues boost the Saints on paper, but they're going to have to still put in a decent enough performance to come away with a win in Norfolk, with a win in the Championship having to be earned.
Norwich aren't pushovers
Norwich have leaked a concerning 19 goals this season, which will make the Saints confident, as they've bagged a red-hot 20.
But, Clement's hosts are far from pushovers, as they took the lead away at league leaders, Swansea City, on Saturday, when the Swans had an uncharacteristic lapse of concentration.
If one of the sternest defences in the league can be breached by Norwich, even with Toure in the treatment room, the South Coast visitors will have to be alert, so they don't get hit with a sucker punch that makes the already difficult feat of an away win harder to achieve.
Moreover, Norwich have picked up two of their three Championship wins this season on home soil, scoring a potent ten along the way.
They managed to beat Birmingham City 2-1, who are firmly in the promotion pack, while the Saints only stumbled to a 1-1 draw at St. Andrew's.
Southampton will just have to back their own quality, courtesy of Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza, shining through and pray Norwich feel in a charitable mood, as their away day jinx can't continue forever.
