June has seen Southampton's X page suddenly spark back into life.
On the 1st of the month, the Saints released a lengthy statement about the Spygate scandal and the punishments they have received, while the following day saw Dragan Solak, the Saints owner, and Tonda Eckert both address fans head-on with honest videos.
While they both acknowledged their wrongdoings and apologised, it appears that Eckert has retained the support of the forthright Serbian, who is willing to give the German a second chance despite dragging his club through the mud.
This has led to many differing responses on social media, as is the nature of the beast, with many still calling for Southampton to get rid of the controversial manager promptly.
When it comes to outspoken TalkSPORT pundit Simon Jordan, though, he is fully behind the decision by Solak to back his under-fire manager, as the ex-Crystal Palace chairman delivered yet another memorable monologue on his thoughts.
Jordan's candid remarks on the Eckert situation
The former Eagles owner has transitioned seamlessly into being a well-known pundit, after being the chairman of the South London club from 2000 to 2010.
Nowadays, he is more widely recognised for his brash persona on TalkSPORT, and he didn't mince his words when commenting on Solak publicly backing the 33-year-old.

🤷♂️ "What do Southampton achieve by firing their manager!?"
Simon Jordan explains why #SaintsFC are right to keep Tonda Eckert despite the Spygate scandal! ✅🕵️♂️ pic.twitter.com/X97NPbdA52
He said, when talking on his regular White and Jordan show: "Well, they've been sanctioned, so the manager can clearly manage. What are you gonna do, double whammy yourself now?
"What is the point of falling upon your sword now? You've been sanctioned. I might have done if I felt there was a trade-off to be had with the EFL.
"If it was 'If I sack my manager, do I keep my place in the playoff final?' But that's like pleading with a copper on the side of a road after speeding.
"If he tells you he's going to give a ticket and then he wants you to kiss his backside for five minutes. No, I'll kiss your backside if I'm not getting a ticket.
"But if I am still getting a speeding ticket, just give me the bleeding ticket and let me go about my business. They've given the sanction.
"Now clearly the manager can manage. Clearly the guy is a capable lad, so why would you want to have further indications of self-harm?"
Jordan does make a fair point here, as Southampton don't need to inflict themselves with even more punishments, now that the powers that be have handed out such severe penalties.
The hope will be that the Saints can operate with Eckert at the helm next season, as he tries to prove himself as a competent manager, away from Spygate, but it's all in the hands of the FA now...
It all rests on the FA
Ultimately, all this talk about Southampton wanting to continue with Eckert at the helm could be pointless.
Indeed, the FA might decide to hand out further punishments to the Berlin-born head coach to add more insult to injury, with a potential ban in place.
If that were to occur, Solak - despite his public backing - would have no choice but to get rid.
There have already been harsh repercussions, as the South Coast side were chucked out of the playoffs, so the Saints must surely have some plans in place, if the FA decided to ban Eckert outright.
The Spygate scandal, at this point, just feels never-ending, and no doubt, even more pundits will weigh in with their honest thoughts between now and the FA coming to a final verdict.
