Midfielders and Forwards

Flynn Downes (CM) - 7/10 Competitive and back to his best. He's struggled with a virus in recent weeks but looks to be over the worst.

Caspar Jander (CM) - 7/10 Jandar is looking like a shrewd purchase. He pressed the ball well, was sharp in the tackle, and used the ball simply to retain possession.

Léo Scienza (LF) - 6/10 May never have a better chance to open his account for Southampton. Headed wide with the goal at his mercy. Made several impressive attacking contributions and took a couple of shots from distance that were easily blocked.

Cameron Archer (CF) - 6/10 Slid Armstrong in for his chance and nearly scored when he failed to connect with a cross in the first period. Withdrawn early in the second half, presumably to keep him fresh.

Adam Armstrong (RF) - 6/10 Had a decent game tonight. He should have got on the scoresheet when his delicate chip hit the bar at the end of the first-half.
