Despite getting some momentum in the recent matches, Southampton were far from their best and conceded thrice against Andoni Iraola's Bournemouth in the first half. While the Saints took a step back with their lacklustre display throughout the match, there were some positives for Russell Martin's side who tried to make a comeback in the second half.
On that note, here are the three standout Southampton players from the 3-1 away defeat against Bournemouth in the sixth Premier League matchday.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis
The former Manchester City academy talent has been an integral part of the Southampton defence since last season. Forming a reliable centre-back partnership with Poland international, Jan Bednarek, Harwood-Bellis helped the Saints in achieving promotion and his move to Southampton was made permanent for £20 million in this transfer window.
The first few matches weren't good for the 22-year-old, but since Jack Stephens's red card, Harwood-Bellis has worked his way into Russell Martin's side with his reliable defending. In the first half, Harwood-Bellis tried to organise the defence and scored his first Premier League goal in the second half to keep Southampton's chances of making a comeback.
Although the Saints couldn't score more goals, the young defender continued his good form and will look forward to play a key role for Southampton in the Arsenal match.
