Premier League side interested in signing Southampton's young prodigy

Although Southampton have faced four Premier League defeats from their first four league matches, their performances in the recent matches have been encouraging. The Saints showed a brilliant display against Everton and made a comeback from 1-0 down to level the game and then win 6-5 on penalties. Against Manchester United, Russell Martin's side showcased a good performance in the first half an hour despite conceding two quick goals before halftime in the 3-0 defeat. 

While the defence certainly needs to be improved, Southampton have a massive talent with them in the attack, Tyler Dibling. The 18-year-old showed great athleticism and dribbling down the right side and constantly sparked creativity into the Southampton front three which has been struggling to score more goals this season. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Southampton fans and several Premier League analysts praising the young forward's display in his first Premier League start.

Also, several top Premier League clubs have been admiring his performances for the Saints and want to sign the creative playmaker to bolster their team with quality as well as squad depth. According to a report from GIVEMESPORT, Manchester United are interested in signing Dibling and could start transfer talks with Southampton in the January transfer window or at the end of the season. 

"United could be interested in attempting to turn Dibling’s head, despite the Saints’ hopes at convincing him to sign a new contract on the south coast after a huge breakthrough at the start of the season."

Dibling is in a great form currently and if he keeps his momentum going towards the end of the season, he will be the subject of transfer interest from several clubs. However, Dibling should stay at the St. Mary's Stadium for a few years to continue his development as a world class Premier League star as if he joins a new team in the upcoming transfer window, it'll be difficult for him to get regular playing time in the first team. Also, Southampton should keep Dibling at the club for a lot of years as he is showcasing his high potential to become one of the best forwards in the upcoming years.
