Southampton travel to Craven Cottage on Sunday to face Fulham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

In the 50th anniversary year of Southampton's only FA Cup triumph, Tonda Eckert's team will hope to continue their cup run and reach the quarter-finals. Eckert has vowed to go strong at Fulham.

Southampton predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeepers and defenders

Goalkeeper - George Long: Long did well enough in round four to earn another start in the cup. He could get the nod over Daniel Peretz, who might be saved for West Brom in the league on Wednesday.

Right-back - Elias Jelert: Despite being overlooked off the bench against Sheffield Wednesday, Jelert could get another run-out in the cup. The Dane has been unfortunate to be kept out of the team by James Bree.

Centre-back - Taylor Harwood-Bellis: Harwood-Bellis has been at the heart of everything good about Southampton this season. After scoring away at Sheffield Wednesday a week ago, he will be keen to add to his tally.

Centre-back - Joshua Quarshie: Jack Stephens could be rested ahead of the trip to the Hawthorns in midweek, and a tough run of fixtures to follow. That could open the door for Quarshie to slot back in alongside Harwood-Bellis.

Left-back Ryan Manning: Manning will have played his free-kick goal against Sheffield Wednesday on repeat this week. With Welington out, Manning could have anouther opportunity to demonstrate his dead ball skills.

Midfielders

Central midfielder - Cameron Bragg: Braggy had a decent game at Hillsborough last weekend and will be looking forward to another game in Southampton's FA Cup run. Flynn Downes will probably be saved for West Brom on Wednesday.

Central midfielder - Shea Charles: It's a toss-up between Shea Charles and Casper Jander regarding who plays alongside Bragg in midfield. Charles and Bragg dovetailed well last weekend and that partnership could be called upon again at Craven Cottage.

Attackers

Right winger - Tom Fellows: Fellows has lost his place to Kuryu Matsuki in recent weeks, and he will need to recapture his form if he is going to dislodge the Japanese winger. He might have an opportunity to show what he can do at the Cottage tomorrow.

Attacking midfielder - Cameron Archer: Squad rotation is Tonda Eckert's great strength, and Archer may get another opportunity to play behind the big Canadian up front. Archer has looked lively of late, and he may offer Finn Azaz a rest.

Left winger - Sam Edozie: Like others in the squad, Léo Scienza is too important to Southampton's promotion hopes to risk in the cup. Edozie was excellent in the fourth round and he deserves another run-out at Fulham.

Striker - Cyle Larin: Ross Stewart was rested against Sheffield Wednesday as a precaution. Expect him to have some involvement against Fulham, albeit from the bench. Larin will probably lead the line.
