Real Madrid icon feared for £10.4m Saint but reality isn't that frightening

Real Madrid's ex-maestro Toni Kroos had his head in hands over Southampton's August addition but the fears aren't playing out horribly in the beginning.

Every year, Southampton enter a competitive pitch roughly fifty times but sharing a win with Real Madrid on a gameweek stays as complex as solving two puzzles simultaneously. Tuesday, was an unconventional day in this regard with the Spanish outfit steamrolling past a Champions League rival and the Saints bettering Sheffield United.

Hence, both group of fans will have a satisfactory grin setting on their faces, and past Real Madrid as well as Southampton icons would be matching the same fan frolics.

And where cheer arrives, fear disappears with the Saints being well eligible to learn one scaring prediction that has not frightened them so far. Some twenty-odd days ago, Real Madrid's past superstar Toni Kroos had his focus centred on Saints ace Caspar Jander, but not for appreciative reasons.

Jander paces off on the better side of Toni Kroos' fear

A striking concern was lined up on Kroos' face with EFL Analysis quoting his remarks: "How many have gone there [to the English second-tier] and never been heard from again? [Jander is] a very great German talent. [The transfer annoys me] off purely from a sporting and personal perspective."

Saints can apply the common saying about football's greats that when they say, the club or the player mentioned must listen. In that sense, Southampton need to avoid Jander's shine from getting overshadowed amidst squad competition.

As it sits, the 22-year-old midfield wonderkid is turning into a playmaking machine with Just Saints noting in their words: "Caspar Jander against Sheffield United created the most chances (3) won the most tackles (2) and was the most accurate passer (97%)."

Too fresh to call, but Jander is pacing on the lesser-travelled and better path than Kroos worried of. It must stay this way, for Southampton's well-being.
