Midfielders

Shea Charles (CM) - 7.5/10 - Another very good performance from a player who has returned from his loan at Sheffield Wednesday with a point to prove. Charles was competitive against a very strong Brighton midfield and only got better as the game progressed. Almost scored an unlikely winner when he headed Ryan Fraser's cross on to the far post. Still plagued by the odd wayward pass but he will be a player that Still will build his team around.
Moses Sesay (CM) - 6.5/10 - Sesay is fast becoming a player who can compete for a place in Still's starting eleven. He worked extremely hard off the ball and put in some fierce tackles. Sesay is still very young and there is plenty of development to come from him this season.
Ryan Fraser (AM) - 7/10 - Fraser has improved as pre-season has gone on. His tireless work off the ball hasn't gone unnoticed here. Today, Fraser created overloads out wide and put in some teasing crosses. If he can add some goals and assists to go with his undoubted work rate he could be an important player for Saints next season.
