Midfielders

Shea Charles (CM) - 6/10 - Sloppy in possession. High energy and combative. Won two important tackles and had three attempts. Didn't get forward as much as he has done in pre-season.

Flynn Downes (CM) - 5.5/10 - Combative and aggressive. Gave the ball away too often with only 78% of his passes finding a teammate.

Mateus Fernandes (AMR) - 6.5/10 - 'Matty' was the focal point in build-up play and he linked up particularly well with Ryan Fraser. Dead-ball delivery was below average. Did not provide enough support for Adam Armstrong.

Jay Robinson (AML) - 6.5/10 - Scored the equalising goal with a towering header. Lacked a litlle confidence at times in the final third. Wasn't as involved in the game as he needed to be and was replaced after 69 minutes.
