Ryan Borowski – Saints 2-1 Spurs

For me, the 2-1 victory against Tottenham was the Game of the Season. It was between this and the 3-2 victory over Arsenal that came a few weeks prior. Something about this one just tasted that much sweeter for me.

Tottenham squandered some chances early in the match and could have put the match to bed early. Alas, they failed to do so and it was great to see the boys take advantage of the door being left open and snatching all 3 points from this match.

This match came during a tough stretch of games where we played Arsenal, Man U, Tottenham, and Liverpool in a 6-match span. The team could have easily gone and lost all 4 of those matches and just shrug their shoulder saying “Well we weren’t expected to win,” but that is not at all what happened and I think this was a great victory for the players, managers, and supporters alike.
