Southampton: Three previous Saints wins over Sheffield United

Saints 1-0 Sheffield United, 2000/01 FA Cup Third Round
The beginning of a run to the fifth-round of the cup for Saints which would ultimately end with an embarrassing reply defeat to Tranmere Rovers.
A strong side would overcome the then second-tier Blades here though by a narrow margin at the Dell.
Saints had to wait until the 73rd minute to get the all important goal as Jason Dodd scored from the penalty spot.
This win set up another home tie with Sheffield United’s rivals Sheffield Wednesday in the fourth-round, with Saints progressin thanks to a 3-1 win.
