Cyriel Dessers

Before football was paused throughout the world due to the Coronavirus, Dessers had been leading the way in the Eredivisie goalscoring charts.

His 15 strikes for Heracles had put him joint-top with Feyenoord’s Steven Berghuis, and it’s easy to see how he has risen to the top.

Looking back on his collection of goals shows natural pace and power followed by clinical finishing – two of his best finishes even came against Eredivisie leaders Ajax.

Dessers also scored freely with former clubs Utrecht and NAC Breda and still has plenty of time left in his career at just 25 years old.
