Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Hojbjerg’s situation has been talked about for a long time and it appears likely that he will leave St Mary’s this summer.

He is a valuable asset to Saints and they will not want to lose him for free when his current deal runs out at the end of June 2021.

For that reason, they may be forced to cash in when they get a suitable offer – Spurs have been heavily linked and a potential part-exchange deal between the clubs has been mentioned recently.

The Denmark international has played 131 games for Saints since joining from Bayern Munich back in 2016 and has improved as a player in that time.
