Dominic Solanke

It may be a surprise to include Solanke on the list of threats, especially given how disappointing the 22 year old has been this campaign. A lofty transfer fee of £19 million raised a few eyebrows in January 2019 and the Reading born striker has failed to set the world alight during his time on the South Coast.

However, goals can be like buses for a striker suffering a drought; one might wait ages for a goal and then two come along at once. Having failed to trouble the goal sheet all season, he managed a superb brace against a Leicester side in free-fall last week.

Solanke has never been a prolific striker but Eddie Howe will be hoping that his new found confidence in front of goal will come to the fore against their South coast adversaries.  If nothing else, his work rate will create space for his colleagues and Saints will need to stay firm.
