Aaron Ramsdale is one of the 14 new signings Southampton have completed in the summer transfer window. Although the former Arsenal star has already conceded 13 league goals in five Premier League matches, Ramsdale has become one of the first team starters for the Saints following his impressive saves from inside the box. Moreover, there have been a few consistent performers from Russell Martin's side in Southampton's rather struggling start to the Premier League season.
One of them is 18-year-old promising right-winger Tyler Dibling, who has made the right flank position his own since last month. Dibling started the new Premier League season with a couple of impressive substitute cameos and two assists against Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup, but the England U19 international showcased his brilliant potential against Manchester United in front of the Southampton fans. Since then, Dibling has gone strength to strength for Russell Martin's side and found the back of the net in the following match against Ipswich Town.

The recent Arsenal fixture was another game which highlighted Dibling's incredible potential as the Saints academy graduate dribbled world class defenders such as Riccardo Calafiori and Gabriel with ease, creating lots of space inside the final third. Although Dibling didn't score a goal and came very close to providing an assist in the first half, his playmaking has attracted the attention of several clubs such as Manchester United and Newcastle United regarding a transfer move in the upcoming seasons. Ramsdale is also one of his huge admirers, and compared Dibling's dribbling to former Arsenal star and PFA Young Player of the Year, Jack Wilshere, saying,
"I think Tyler dribbles a little bit like Jack Wilshere, you know, the way he moves, the way he moves the ball, entices the defenders to come towards him and can skip around them."Aaron Ramsdale
Being compared to one of the best England midfielders in the previous ten years is a significant achievement which symbolises Dibling's impressive growth for club and England's U19 squad in the recent months. Jack Wilshere made nearly 200 appearances for Arsenal and registered 41 goal contributions and won the FA Cup twice alongside a Community Shield Title.
Playing for England, Wilshere made 34 international appearances and Dibling will also aim to exceed expectations and become one of the finest players for both Southampton as well as the England national team.
