Burnley hopes to have former defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis back in their books for an ambitious Premier League return.

With the recent update on Juma Bah's Saints links, the fans must have their transfer dilemmas enhanced in an already stressful window. And rightly so, given they might lose an English International in Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Now, given Still's previous projects' philosophy, it isn't difficult to realize that Will Still may favour Bah among him and Harwood-Bellis. But while this may have the fans in awe, it may just ease the situation for the latter.

That's because, having given his heart out on the field for the St. Mary's, it might have been difficult to part ways for Harwood-Bellis now. And a recent homecoming possibility simplifies it all for the defender.

Burnley want to have Harwood-Bellis back in their books

It's newly promoted Burnley, who have come calling to Southampton for Taylor Harwood-Bellis's transfer.

As per journalist Alan Nixon(via Football League World), Burnley is more than interested in exploring a summer move for Harwood-Bellis. While the defender's permanent move may be costly, the Clarets are willing to negotiate a loan, considering the defender as a sureshot squad upgrade.

Having known the defender since their 2022/23 promotion win, Harwood-Bellis has remained an exciting option for the Clarets in the meantime. And having achieved a Premier League return again, Burnley plans to materialise their interest in Harwood-Bellis whom they missed the last time around.

Needless to say, this comes as a headache for Saints fans, but for Harwood-Bellis, it's a linkup he won't deny.

While the defender has attracted many luring offers recently, with Chelsea among them, no one guarantees him a starting spot better than Burnley in the next season. Needless to say, the idea of making it big in an ambitious Scott Parker side will lure him anyway.

Well, for Southampton, it brings them closer than ever to losing an England International while being tipped for Ramsdale's departure too. Now, the only question that remains is who of the two, Harwood-Bellis or Ramsdale leaves first.
