Pressure is mounting on Southampton manager, Will Still, after his side came away with nothing as Blackburn Rovers turned the match on its head to take all three points at Ewood Park.

Still made four changes from the team that lost 3-1 against Bristol City on Tuesday. With illness ruling out Caspar Jander, Flynn Downes, and Tom Fellows, the manager shuffled his pack and handed Finn Azaz his first start for four matches.

The inclusion of Joshua Quarshie ahead of Taylor Harwood-Bellis may have raised a few eyebrows, but on balance, the youngster has earned his place.

Saints' very prolific under-21 striker Nick Oyekunle has been added to the squad and will start on the bench.

Here's a reminder of the match highlights...

23 mins - Léo Scienza gets his first goal for Southampton making no mistake after finding himself through on the keeper. Indecision in the Blackburn defence gifts the Brazilian the chance.

48 mins - Ronnie Edwards pops the ball in the net but the flag is up.

53 mins - Adam Armstrong wastes a huge chance to double Southampton's lead. His delicate chip, when through on goal, is anticipated by the keeper and the chance goes begging.

68 mins - Saints fans vent their frustration at the manager after he takes off Leo Scienza and replaces him with the club captain Jack Stephens. Cries of 'you don't know what you're doing' ring out from the away fans.

76 mins - Ryan Alebiosu scores for the home side with a cross that sneaks in at the far post.

86 mins - Andri Gudjohnsen scores on the rebound after McCarthy's excellent initial save, as Blackburn turn the game on its head late on.

90+4 mins - Welington is sent off for a challenge on Gudjohnsen as the day goes from bad to worse.

Full-Time: Blackburn 2-1 Southampton

The players are met with 'you're not fit to wear the shirt' by the Saints fans and the manager keeps his distance from them.

Alex McCarthy (GK) - 7/10 - One of Southampton's better players in a dreadful match. Made a smart save from Yuki Ohashi just after Saints had gone ahead and then another two in the second half to preserve the clean sheet.

Mads Roerslev (RWB) - 5/10 - Anonymous in the first half but got further up the pitch in the second period.

Ronnie Edwards (CB) - 6/10 - Comfortable in possession. Edwards is beginning to show his quality with and without the ball. Inextricably withdrawn after 80 minutes as the manager changes the shape of the team.

Nathan Wood (CB) - 6/10 - Solid at the back. An improvement on his poor performance at Bristol City in midweek.

Joshua Quarshie (CB) - 7/10 - Repaid the manager's faith in him with an aggressive performance. Made the most clearances of any Saints player.

Ryan Manning (LWB) - 6/10 - Back in the side with Welington ruled out. Strong in the tackle but his passing was wayward at times.
