The Southampton starting eleven should have a familiar look to it, as Tonda Eckert shuffles his pack once again after winning at Doncaster last time out. Daniel Peretz is set to make his home debut.
After suffering a concussion, Cameron Bragg is ruled out of the clash with Hull City, although he is likely to return in midweek when Sheffield United come to town.
Bragg's absence suggests that Flynn Downes and Caspar Jander will start in midfield as the formation reverts to a 3-4-3.
The threat of Oli McBurnie presented Will Still's team with an unmanageable problem back in September, in the reverse fixture, as the Saints crumbled to a 3-1 defeat in the rain.
The McBurnie factor will encourage Tonda Eckert to return to his favoured three at the back, and it could be argued this time that he is justified in doing so.
Defensively, Southampton lack aerial presence at the back, so an increase in numbers could well be the answer. Expect the Saints' Head Coach to bring Adam Armstrong, Finn Azaz, and Léo Scienza back into the starting lineup in a familiar front three.
Tom Fellows and Ryan Manning could return to their familiar duties, with Nathan Wood expected to be recalled. Eckert is likely to make six changes to the team that took the field at Doncaster last weekend.
Southampton predicted lineup: (3-4-3)
Goalkeeper and Defenders

Goalkeeper - Daniel Peretz: It seems obvious that Daniel Peretz will make his home debut for Southampton. The Israeli's arrival earlier in the transfer window has forced Gavin Bazunu out on loan, and the Bayern Munich loanee certainly had an impact at Doncaster Rovers last weekend.
Right Centre-Back - Taylor Harwood-Bellis: Harwood-Bellis is a mainstay of Eckert's defensive unit and will start on the right of the defence. He will play an important role in keeping Oli McBurnie quiet, something that he failed to achieve earlier in the season at Hull.
Centre-Back - Nathan Wood: Wood's presence in a back three could be the difference maker against Hull at St Mary's on Saturday. His physicality should cause the Hull attack a significant problem this time around.
Left Centre-Back - Joshua Quarshie: The sensible option for Eckert is to retain Quarshie for the visit of Hull. Sergej Jakirović likes his team to play on the counterattack, meaning Quarshie's pace could be vital in defensive transitions.
Midfielders

Right Midfield - Tom Fellows: Fellows may be asked to put a shift in down the right today against a Hull City team that likes to defend deep. That should give the flying winger plenty of opportunities to get forward without compromising defence.
Centre Midfield - Caspar Jander: Despite Tonda Eckert's penchant for throwing in a selection curveball, the midfield pairing looks like a no-brainer. Well rested and raring to go, Jander should return to the team and offer an attacking threat against Hull.
Centre Midfield - Flynn Downes: Alongside Jander, Flynn Downes will play the more disciplined role against Hull today. Jakirović's team play through the middle, and Downes will need to be alert to that attacking threat. His aggression will be a feature at St Mary's today.
Left Midfield - Ryan Manning: Despite Welington's positive performance at Doncaster last weekend, Manning has been Eckert's go-to man in the 3-4-3 formation. Manning offers a little more than Welington going forward, and his set-pieces could prove crucial in what could be a tight affair.
Forwards

Left Forward - Léo Scienza: The lovable Brazilian will return to the Saints front three. After replacing Jay Robinson at Doncaster, Southampton looked far more threatening going forward. Despite a poor performance against Millwall last time Saints were at St Mary's, Scienza should get the nod in a familiar lineup.
Centre Forward - Adam Armstrong: Despite rumoured interest from Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers in midweek, Adam Armstrong will be available to play against Hull, and he is likely to start ahead of Cameron Archer and Ross Stewart.
Right Forward - Finn Azaz: The Republic of Ireland international's position in the team could be under threat if Eckert decides to make a change to the formation. However, given the likelihood that Southampton will control possession, Azaz's ability to unlock defences with through balls and his tendency to arrive in the box at the right time should see him start ahead of Kuryu Matsuki who has impressed recently.
