Southampton must reject Finn Azaz on this laughable £3m condition

Middlesbrough have rubbished one Southampton deal recently, and now their fans are annoying the Saints to the point where a Finn Azaz swoop can be in doubt.

Southampton fans, doesn't it feel like a torrid phase where Tyler Dibling walks away and the team succumbs to a first defeat which they had fended away for two weeks. Now, fans might be caught between thoughts as whether to lament the 19-year-old departing or a timidly shaping season.

Well, it's natural to get frustrated as fans and then we have rivals Middlesbrough not letting even one good St. Mary's exit happen. And wins just keep bouncing for Boro so they aren't vying for a Southampton business as much as the Saints are.

Finn Azaz, and unfortunately he is becoming a necessity day by day. Even his afternoon goal could have kept Southampton's modest August form unscathed but no, a double turnaround fell on the to-do list at a team where attackers are in the process of finding their best touch.

Saints shouldn't sacrifice Cameron Archer for a meagre £3m

Honestly, these momentary frustrations will wind up soon but Middlesbrough fans are pulling out jokes on Southampton in the background.

Touching upon the Finn Azaz developments, the Football League World quoted fan pundit Liam Day quipping: "If you can go get £12 million plus Cameron Archer, I'd take that, but I think we should be asking for £15 million."

These monetary ambitions can be paid off but this £3m discount for Cameron Archer isn't equating up. The 23-year-old has regressed in attacking contribution, no doubt, but his calibre isn't to be minced for a grim run of outings.

As such, this Archer mention seems like an invitation for making a flattering deal with Southampton. One, where Middlesbrough wish to pay frugally for a player whose morale is lowering but will be back running with a few strikes.
