Saints tipped to explore exciting wing partnership between Tyler Dibling and his English U19 compatriot Tyrique George.

Looking back, it's been exactly 3 weeks since Tyler Dibling emerged as a surprise contender for a Chelsea return. But while that update had Saints fearing, no return inquiry for Dibling has almost closed Chelsea's Dibling links.

And that's for fair reasons, given how the Blues' CWC triumph has changed their youth transfer stance. That's because, in a surprise no one saw coming, Chelsea have now gone from inviting youth talents like Dibling to departing their club youngsters for foreign development.

Well, and what would have felt unimaginable weeks ago, Southampton can end up bringing a Blues youngster rather than departing their players.

Take the case of Chelsea's teenage starlet, Tyrique George, for instance.

Recently, the EFL Analysis touted 19-year-old Tyrique George as a must-pursue target for Southampton. And while the winger's exceptional last campaign speaks for itself, George's telepathic link with Tyler Dibling is another crucial reason the Saints must consider permanently uniting this George-Dibling duo.

George-Dibling duo can stand upto fans' long-held expectations

In case you don't know, despite their premature careers, George and Dibling have shared a couple of dressing rooms. While Dibling's failed 2022 move had him bond with George at Stamford Bridge, both of them are currently teammates in England's U19 ranks.

Yet the cherry on the cake is the timing of this potential link-up. That's because, having recently lost ground on Idrissa Gueye's transfer, Southampton had been vying for winger recruits, and what better than having been presented with a wing partnership opportunity that sounds too good to be true.

Just imagine, with Dibling making runs down the right, and George cutting in from the left, the creativity these teenagers can add to the Saints' attack. In fact, if this works out, it shouldn't be long until Saints fans get a major previous wish fulfilled, for those who long waited to see Dibling and Amo-Ameyaw curate up such a duo.

Needless to say, these reasons must feel enough for the Saints board to look into George's potential signing seriously. And who knows, maybe they get even luckier to get the winger on free, boosting their transfer savings additionally.
