Southampton have been handed a home tie against Leicester in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.
Matches will be played around the weekend of Saturday, February 14, and Sunday, February 15.
The last time Southampton played Leicester City in the FA Cup was in the 2020–21 season, when the two sides met in the semi-final at Wembley Stadium. Leicester won 1–0, courtesy of a second-half goal from Kelechi Iheanacho, ending Saints’ cup run and sending the Foxes to their first FA Cup final in over 50 years.
Saints have the upper hand on Leicester already this season
The teams have already played each other at St Mary's this season, with the Saints coming out on top with a convincing 3-0 victory. Two goals from Taylor Harwood-Bellis and another from Finn Azaz made it a comfortable fourth win in a row for Tonda Eckert as Olabade Aluko saw red for the visitors.
Southampton will hope to go deep in the competition in the year that they celebrate their 50th Anniversary of their only success in the competition. It's a cup competition that the Head Coach described as a “beautiful“ one ahead of the third-round tie at Doncaster.

The Saints made tough work of the the match against Doncaster on Saturday. It was hardly the smooth passage through to round four that the fans might have been expecting after their team led 3-0 at half-time. Goals from Cameron Bragg, Cameron Archer, and Kuryu Matsuki were just about enough to send Southampton through.
