Southampton have been termed as heavy underdogs again but Portsmouth are lauded to bag control of the three points.

The Saturday night Championship football will resume today, and infact, it's Southampton's third last league obligation to fulfill while transfers are open. There are fifteen days worth of improvements left, and then it'll be taking on the league with a locked squad.

Louis Patris has come to the fore as a thoughtful fullback reinforcement but other speculations are also flowing in.

The beforehand predictions, where Troy Deeney got the scorecard accurate but the outcome wrong on kickoff night. So, he may avoid discussing about Southampton for a while but Opta's Supercomputer has got some expectations queued up.

Lacklustre evening for Saints expected to be irritating on top

Not going off topic, but there's nothing that comes close to home, and it's the Supercomputer's tagline for the evening. In their words, Opta said: "The Opta supercomputer is predicting a strong weekend of home wins, with nine of the 12 fixtures seeing the home team win most often in its simulations."

Do any of you hold hope Southampton will be spared from losing forecasts? Good, if you did but the report isn't mincing the home domination idea just because Southampton are out on the road.

Implying, it will be an unrealistic ask for Saints to remain above top ten and Portsmouth, it's their field to lose. Three days ago, they fell apart in front of their crowd's support and the St. Mary's faithful will want them to get humiliated again else, the Pompeys risk sitting above Will Still and the squad.

Plus, the derby rivals in blue will find it an ideal eve to support Saints competitors Ipswich Town, who also sport their blue. It couldn't be a more topsy-turvy challenge, but joyful results can be on display if Ipswich's top men are kept quiet.
