Tottenham want Brentford's wing duo Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa which may end their Tyler Dibling pursuit.

Just a week before, Fabrizio Romano gave that Tottenham action update that must've decreased Championship anxiety for the Saints. And for all the positive reasons of not having to face McKenna again.

But if that Spurs step towards a major rebuild had the Saints fans jumping for joy, their recent action has sent shockwaves all around St. Mary's.

It's because of their latest transfer interests that have hit hard Southampton's Tyler Dibling plans. While days ago, everything felt like getting back on track for a big Dibling departure, Saints fans now fear no big club moving for the teenage wonderkid, at all.

Saints former transfer regrets complicates DIbling's transfer case

Well, and what is worse than a former regret causing all this to happen to Southampton? Intriguingly, it's the duo of Brentford wingers, Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa again.

While Saints fans will hardly get over Bryan Mbeumo's transfer regret, they were once close to signing Yoane Wissa too. And now, the duo has come back to haunt Southampton through a transfer switch to Tottenham.

Recently, Transfer News Live mentioned new Spurs boss Frank's interest in the Brentford duo, quoting: "Thomas Frank doesn't only want Bryan Mbeumo to join him at Tottenham. He wants Yoane Wissa too."

Honestly, should this move go through, Tottenham's long-known Tyler Dibling interest would be over by far. And that is what has now Southampton's summer plans in danger.

Undoubtedly, Southampton fans and the club would hardly feel Dibling staying as a setback but getting lost on what could have been another massive departure in their history will surely affect them.

Still, it might be not all over for Dibling yet. That's because Manchester United could ponder over their past Dibling interest to avenge the lost European title and a bunch of high-profile signings to Tottenham.

But will the Red Devils come to console Dibling? Let's see.
