Arsenal's ongoing pursuit of Chelsea forward Noni Madueke can see the Blues making concrete efforts to prize away Tyler Dibling from Southampton.

Fabrizio Romano's last Southampton related speculation only worsened the mood among both the Saints fans as well as Aaron Ramsdale. Yet, weekends are generally a win-win duration for every English club and one of Premier League's biggest transfer winners so far, have progressed a key step that will have Southampton ecstatic too.

Here, comes Arsenal but partially unfortunately, they can only have the Saints smiling not their previous shot-stopper Ramsdale. In his own words, Fabrizio Romano updated about the Gunners newest transfer activity, saying: "Understand Arsenal are set to send opening bid for Noni Madueke after agreement with the player on personal terms."

Sadly, their recruitments are irrelevant for Southampton's squad upgrade but the key factor is that Mikel Arteta's men are plotting the signature of a Chelsea forward. Well familiar with the Blues' squad depth centered signing strategy, both their and the Saints fans will expect them not to let their open winger vacancy slip from the back of their minds.

Dibling can resolve Chelsea's occasional scoring hiccups

A temporary void, that could soon have Tyler Dibling's backing who was one of the first names to set their newer sporting project rolling in full flow at the Stamford Bridge.

And that's not an overstatement because Chelsea might stroll past a couple of Brazilian sides to enter the Club World Cup final but that doesn't hide their initial fumble against Flamengo. Hence, in challenging scenarios like these, the 19-year-old Saint can ooze flair and playmaking inspiration into their somewhat hit-and-miss kind of front three.

No doubt, Arsenal have forced Chelsea to shift their reinforcement gaze towards Dibling but from now onwards, it's between Southampton and the Blues to mutually work out in the best interests of Dibling.
