Former Saints manager Danny Rohl has mutually ended his Sheffield Wednesday tenure ahead of the next Championship season.

Recently, Saints heard of both Russell Martin and Ruben Selles, and while they may not admit it, the thought of former manager Danny Rohl would have surely crossed their mind. And that's for all the right reasons as to how he is faring out, while the other 2 ex-bosses strengthen their sides.

Well, but what's interesting is that having lived far away from transfer reports, Rohl has suddenly caught everyone's attention with a transfer shocker. That's because Danny Rohl has made the big decision to bid farewell to Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the next season.

Recently, Sky Sports confirmed Danny Rohl's Hillsborough exit, which was finalised by a mutual contract termination between the club and the manager. Needless to say, this step has made Rohl a free agent, unbound by any transfer fee complications as before.

Rohl's bold call finds him in a dilemmatic situation again

Well, having pitied over their ex-boss' situation from a distance for a while, now, Saints fans would be genuinely happy for Rohl. But all their concerns ask in unity, hasn't the manager chosen a bit too wrong a time to resolve his future.

That's because, by this time, all of Rohl's dream destinations, English and Bundesliga clubs, have had their managerial appointments made. And though, on paper, he has a whole August month to find a new club, Rohl must be hurrying up his moves.

Why so? In case Rohl loses the race against time, he would be left with no option other than to remain idle. To say that speaks the worst possible scenario, unless he joins in an assistant role, the way he led at the Saints.

Apart from that, Rohl's best option would be to remain patient, waiting for some relegation-nearing clubs to look for him next season. With almost no top coaches available during the season, Rohl can come as an automatic choice even for the best of clubs. But again, it remains speculative, let's see what's in store for Rohl next.
