Southampton: All players Saints were linked to in January transfer window

Although the January transfer window has been a relatively quiet one for Southampton, the last few days of the month have been productive for the club.

Kyle Walker-Peters arrived on a six-month loan deal on Wednesday to provide additional options in the right-back and left-back roles, whilst Cedric’s move to Arsenal was confirmed on Thursday.

In all, this business can be seen as good considering the amount of money they will save from getting Cedric off the books and signing a cheap replacement.

Many more players were linked to the club, whilst there were also numerous rumours of first-team players leaving before the transfer deadline passed.
